Music

I’ve got my hands in a number of musical pies right now; as they evolve, updates will live here. In the meantime, you can check out the links below, read Jason Farman on the art of waiting, watch a chicken agility test, or check out my work with my primary project, March to May.

Groundwater

Groundwater is a multimedia musical work composed by Flannery Cunningham for solo voice, cello, piano, and electronics in which sounds leave visual echoes that are in turn manipulated and fed back into new sonic processes. It draws inspiration from the “Fable for Tomorrow” from Rachel Carson’s seminal Silent Spring, which describes groundwater as a hidden ocean beneath us that carries traces of everything the water has encountered. This a performance of an 11-minute section from the opening of the piece, which will eventually be around an hour long and will premiere in 2021.

Sam.I.R. feat. ME

My friend sam.i.r. and I have been collaborating together on a few EDM tracks. It’s been a great way to experiment with new sounds and ways of making music (and it’s been very fun!).
